Dart Mining EES and our Wangaratta office

This month a team of botanists, zoologists and aquatic ecologists from our Wangaratta office will commence the spring fieldwork program on the Unicorn Project, a proposed molybdenum, copper and silver mine near Corryong in north east Victoria.

Biosis has been working closely with Dart Mining on the Unicorn Project since late 2011 and the project is now at the pre-feasibility stage.  Dart Mining engaged Biosis to conduct the ecological and cultural heritage investigations for the project, including options for power supply from New South Wales.  The results of the investigations will contribute to the overall Environmental Effects Statement (EES) for the project.  Drawing on our resources across both disciplines in each state, Biosis offers Dart Mining an expert and efficiently managed program of works, resulting in time and cost efficiencies while maintaining the highest technical and professional standards.
