With over 20 years’ professional experience within the Horticultural and Conservation industries working in both the public and private sectors, Paul has obtained a vast of knowledge and experience throughout the Central NSW, Northern and Southern Tablelands, Sydney basin, Southern Highlands, Southern Tablelands and the Illawarra, including the establishment of a seed bank and mass production nursery within the Northern Territory.

Paul joined Biosis in 2017 and has experience in Biodiversity assessment method (BAM) under the new legislation. His key tasks include:

  • Biodiversity stewardship site assessment, management plans and Total fund deposit calculations.
  • Biodiversity Development Assessment Report site assessments, application of Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM 2020), and offset calculations.
  • Vegetation Management Plans and the Project Management/assessment during implementation.
  • Flora and Fauna Assessment, Bushland Management Plans, Weed Management Plans.
  • Flora monitoring threatened species surveys and vegetation validation and mapping.
  • Upland swamp mapping monitoring and impact assessment.
  • Seed collection (over 20 years ‘experience) and seed bank creation and management.

Paul specialises in the restoration/rehabilitation of bushland in Sydney Basin, Southern Highlands, South Eastern Tablelands and the Illawarra, and has experience within the coastal dune systems and saltmarsh restoration.
