Graduate GIS Analyst

We are looking for a Graduate GIS Analyst to join our team in Sydney.

In this role you will work alongside our experienced heritage, ecology and planning teams and become a key contributor to large-scale projects throughout many industries in NSW, including renewable energy, infrastructure, residential, telecommunications and utility services.

You will facilitate field data collection and management, and help our consultants and clients visualise potential constraints and opportunities while quantifying impacts to ecological and heritage values. This is an entry level role for an ambitious individual who is eager to learn. You will work alongside experienced and highly knowledgeable colleagues who will guide and support you.

As a Graduate you will have access to our Consultant Development Program, which will help you develop your skills through a professional development budget, mentoring, and participation in strategic team training days.

You will need to attach your CV and a cover letter addressing how you meet the skills and experience required of this role:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a Spatial Science, Environmental Science, Geomatics or an equivalent discipline.
  • Experience using GIS software packages (preferably Esri ArcGIS).
  • An interest in the environmental and heritage consulting industry.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite or similar packages.
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Previous working experience is desirable, but not essential (particularly within a consulting environment).
  • Australian citizenship/residency, or a valid work permit.
