We’re currently looking for a Senior Environmental Planner to join our team in Melbourne.
Working closely with our multi-disciplinary team of ecology and heritage professionals you will be an integral member of the Environmental Approvals team, a key contributor to existing and future projects throughout Victoria, and a driver for the development of our environmental approval capabilities in the region.
The successful candidate will have a high aptitude for environmental approvals, and be capable of providing sound planning advice and guidance to our clients. You will be responsible for participating in, conducting, and managing complex projects, and the production of technical reports. You will also need sounds skills in proposal writing, be able to develop business opportunities, and be keen to establish your professional profile in the industry.
Australian work rights are required for this role.

- Tertiary qualifications in planning or environment
- A minimum of 5 years ’ experience in either consulting or the public sector.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth and State legislation with regard to planning, environmental and heritage approvals.
- An thorough understanding of the Planning and Environment Act 1987, the Victoria Planning Provisions, and the planning approvals process.
- Experience with Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and Environment Effects Act 1978 (EE Act) referrals and approval management.
