With a background in planning, property development and project management, Mitch has worked across local government, client-side and consultancy roles in Australia (Victoria and Queensland) and the United Kingdom. As the General Manager (Victoria), Mitch oversees all our Victorian operations, setting the direction for our teams and providing support to managers.
Prior to joining Biosis, Mitch was responsible for preparing and managing complex urban development and infrastructure strategies and projects. Career highlights include the delivery of two major growth area projects – one in South East Queensland and the other in the western growth corridor of Melbourne. Both projects sat within ecologically sensitive landscapes, requiring Mitch to navigate state and Commonwealth environmental assessment and approval processes.
At Biosis, previously Mitch has coordinated the environmental planning team and managed major projects that typically involve complex environmental approvals. Mitch is adept at coordinating large multi-disciplinary teams, particularly the ecology, cultural heritage and environmental planning services Biosis provides.
You will frequently see Mitch at PIA, VPELA and UDIA events as he keeps up to date with industry news and maintains client relationships.
