We have multiple opportunities for experienced ecologists to join our team in Newcastle, Gosford and/or Wollongong on a full-time basis.
These positions will be primarily focused on working with onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and battery storage projects, as well working on stewardship sites and private land conservation agreements.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have extensive field experience and at least some consulting experience. You will be working across multiple projects and locations, so a willingness to be flexible and be able to travel is essential.
You must also hold a manual drivers’ licence and have the right to work in Australia.

You will need to attach your CV and a cover letter addressing how you meet the skills and experience required of this role:
- Tertiary qualifications in ecology or zoology
- A minimum of two years’ of zoological experience, preferably in consultancy or the public sector
- Strong flora or fauna identification skills
- Experience with field survey design and implementation
- Working knowledge of Commonwealth and state legislation with regard to ecology
- Strong proposal and report writing skills
- Client relationship management and business development skills including client liaison and consultation
- Project management skills, including managing budgets and delivery within set timeframes
