The Department of Justice and Regulation proposes to construct a new Youth Justice Centre (YJC), as well as an access road link to existing road infrastructure and ancillary infrastructure, approximately 10 km south west of Werribee, Victoria.
The following information is published pursuant to Section 95B(4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act), and follows the recent public comment period, during which no comments were received.
The finalised Preliminary Documentation relating to the proposal will be on display for viewing for a period of 10 business days from Tuesday 18 September to Monday 1 October 2018 at the following locations:
- Wyndham City Council, 45 Princes Highway, Werribee VIC 3030
- Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, 609 Burwood Highway, Knoxfield, VIC 3180
- Department of the Environment and Energy, Canberra: email the Department at epbc.referrals@environment.gov.au to arrange a copy for reviewing at the Department.
